Roblox game revenue calculator
Paste any Roblox game link and get an earnings estimate built from the visits it is actually getting — measured hourly by us — after Roblox's 30% cut and the DevEx conversion.
Other Roblox revenue calculators ask you to type in lifetime visits. That number cannot tell you what a game earns now — a five-year-old total and a good month look identical to it. We keep hourly history on every game Roblox surfaces, so the figure below is a measured daily rate.
This is an estimate, not a figure. Roblox publishes no per-game revenue. The two quantities that decide the answer — what share of visitors buy, and what they spend — cannot be seen from outside any game. So this returns a range, and shows every assumption behind it.
Start with a real game
Paste a Roblox game link or search by name. We fill in the visits per day we actually measured — not the lifetime total other calculators ask you to type in.
Inputs
Not lifetime visits. A game with 500M visits over five years may be earning nothing today.
A commitment signal. The median tracked game is 3; front-page hits run lower because casual traffic dilutes it.
The strongest signal here. Purchases happen deep in a session, and Premium Payouts accrue per minute. Around 15 is ordinary.
Leave blank to derive it from the settings above. Base rate is 0.8 R$/visit.

How this was derived
The optimistic end runs further on strong signals because those games have more ways to beat a flat per-visit average — mature game-pass catalogues, repeatable developer products, and Premium Payouts, which accrue per minute of engagement and are not subject to the 30% marketplace cut.
Which Roblox genres monetise best?
In the seven days to 31 August 2026, according to BloxBunny's hourly sampling of the Roblox public API, these were the median figures across 4,111 live Roblox games. The median is used rather than the mean because a handful of enormous games would otherwise drag every row.
The last column is not measured. Roblox publishes no per-game revenue, so no dataset can settle what a genre earns per visit — the multiplier is this calculator's assumption, encoding the well-worn observation that progression loops sell repeatable upgrades while obbies sell almost nothing. It is shown so you can disagree with it and override it above, not because we measured it.
| Genre | Games | Median visits/day | Favourites /1k | Approval | Multiplier (assumed) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Simulation | 1,360 | 14,292 | 3.8 | 95.1% | ×1.25 |
| RPG | 107 | 38,522 | 2.5 | 93.7% | ×1.12 |
| Survival | 383 | 27,775 | 3.3 | 90.5% | ×1.05 |
| Strategy | 113 | 27,989 | 2.1 | 94.1% | ×1.05 |
| Action | 276 | 39,487 | 2.3 | 85.7% | ×1 |
| Puzzle | 67 | 23,483 | 4.3 | 90.9% | ×1 |
| Entertainment | 65 | 11,512 | 3.4 | 89.4% | ×1 |
| Shopping | 63 | 4,656 | 16 | 87.4% | ×1 |
| All | 53 | 4,050 | 3.9 | 88.8% | ×1 |
| Social | 27 | 71,476 | 2.6 | 96.3% | ×1 |
| Adventure | 212 | 15,090 | 3.7 | 89% | ×0.95 |
| Shooter | 111 | 48,371 | 2.9 | 90.8% | ×0.95 |
| Roleplay & Avatar Sim | 295 | 22,730 | 3.2 | 86.6% | ×0.92 |
| Sports & Racing | 130 | 25,160 | 1.6 | 87.2% | ×0.92 |
| Party & Casual | 196 | 15,300 | 2.8 | 87.1% | ×0.82 |
| Obby & Platformer | 653 | 12,103 | 6.7 | 82% | ×0.7 |
Genre is Roblox's own primary classification. A game sitting well above its genre's median favourites rate is holding players better than its peers, which is the single best free signal that it monetises above the line.
Worth noticing where those two disagree: Obby & Platformer carries the highest median favourites rate of any genre and the lowest assumed multiplier. Players commit to obbies and then do not spend, which is the clearest evidence in this table that engagement and monetisation are separate things.
Is this game growing or dying?
The number above tells you what a game earns this week. It cannot tell you whether that is twice what it earned last month or half — and for buying a game, pricing a collaboration, or deciding what to build next, the direction matters more than the level. Every tracked game has its full visit and player history on its own page, back to 2020 where we have it.
Questions about Roblox game revenue
How can I see how much money a Roblox game has made?
Paste the game's Roblox link into the box above. Roblox publishes no per-game revenue, so nobody can show you the real figure — but this reads the visits that game is measurably getting right now, from our own hourly history, and converts them into an earnings range. That is the important difference from every other Roblox revenue calculator, which asks you to type in the game's *lifetime* visit total: a five-year-old total and a good month look identical to that number, and they are nothing alike. You do not need to own the game, and you do not need to look anything up first.
How much money does a Roblox game make?
There is no public figure — Roblox does not publish per-game revenue, and no tool can tell you exactly. What can be estimated is a range, working from visits: visits × Robux spent per visit gives gross Robux, Roblox takes 30%, and the remainder converts to USD at the DevEx rate of $0.0038 per earned Robux. The uncertainty is large because the share of visitors who buy anything (typically 1-3%) and what they spend (50-500 Robux) cannot be observed from outside.
How many Robux does a game earn per visit?
The common rule of thumb is around 0.8 Robux per visit gross, but it varies enormously by genre. Simulators and tycoons sell repeatable upgrades and earn well above that; obbies and party games earn far less. Approval rating and how many players favourite a game also matter, because returning players are the ones who spend.
Why is the estimate a range instead of a number?
Because a single number would be false precision. Conversion rate alone spans 1-3% — a factor of three — before average spend, game-pass pricing or Premium Payouts are considered. Any tool quoting one exact figure for a game it cannot see inside is guessing and hiding it.
Does the estimate include Premium Payouts?
Not directly. Premium Payouts pay developers for time that Roblox Premium subscribers spend in a game, they are not subject to the 30% marketplace cut, and Roblox does not publish the per-minute rate. They are one reason a well-retained game can beat a flat per-visit estimate, which is why the optimistic end of the range runs further for games with strong engagement signals.
What is the DevEx rate in 2026?
Roblox pays $0.0038 per earned Robux as the standard rate for Robux earned after 10am PT on 5 September 2025. Balances earned before that cash out at the older $0.0035. Since 8 June 2026 there is also a US 18+ rate of $0.0054 — a 42% uplift — applying only to qualifying spend from age-verified US players 18 and over, so it never applies to a whole balance. The order matters when you cash out: US 18+ Robux go first, then old-rate Robux, and only then new-rate Robux, so a mixed balance does not pay out at the headline number. The minimum request is 30,000 earned Robux, and only earned Robux count — purchased, gifted and traded Robux do not.
Are these DevEx rates current?
Yes — checked against Roblox's own Developer Exchange terms on 18 August 2026. It is worth verifying anywhere you see a rate quoted: several Roblox revenue calculators still publish $0.0035 as the 2026 standard rate, which has been the legacy rate for Robux earned before September 2025 since that date. A calculator running the old rate understates a payout by roughly 8% before anything else it gets wrong.
Why does this ask for visits per day instead of total visits?
Because lifetime visits cannot answer the question. A game with 500 million visits accumulated over five years and one earning 500 million this year look identical to a lifetime figure, and their incomes are nothing alike. Every other Roblox revenue calculator takes the lifetime number because it is the one Roblox shows publicly. We keep hourly history, so we can measure the daily rate instead — paste a game link above and it fills in automatically.
Can I estimate someone else's game?
Yes, and that is most of what this is used for — sizing a competitor, valuing a game before buying it, or sanity-checking what a collaborator claims. Everything the lookup uses is public: visits, favourites, approval and genre, as Roblox publishes them. Nothing here requires access to anyone's Creator Dashboard.
How accurate is it?
Treat the range as the answer and the midpoint as a guess. The two quantities that decide real revenue — the share of players who spend anything, and how much — are invisible from outside, and conversion alone spans 1-3%. What the lookup removes is the third source of error, the visit figure itself, which is the one people most often get wrong by an order of magnitude. Directionally it is sound; to the dollar it is not, and no tool that claims otherwise can support it.
Does a bigger game always earn more per visit?
No, and the model deliberately assumes the opposite above a million visits a day. Front-page discovery brings enormous low-intent traffic that dilutes the average — you can see it in the data, where the largest games run well below the typical favourites-per-visit rate. A smaller game that holds its players usually monetises better per visit than a big one that churns them.
What about Premium Payouts and group revenue splits?
Premium Payouts widen the optimistic end of the range but are not modelled directly, because Roblox does not publish the per-minute rate. Group splits are not modelled at all: this estimates what a game generates, not how it is divided between collaborators, a group, or a publisher. If a game runs under a publishing deal, the developer's share can be a fraction of what is shown here.
